The Hungarian Maltese Charity Service dreamed of a playground where children could play carefree and in safety, enriched by experiences and values. Last year this dream came true in Békásmegyer with the help of the Soros Foundation. Celebrating its 15th birthday, the Foundation is not expecting a present, but is giving another present to children by supporting a second playground which is to be built in the near future.

On 26 June we can celebrate with the children who have lived almost a year with the renovated playground, whose colours and atmosphere is an oasis in the middle of Békásmegyer. Also on display at the Playday will be the plans of the new playground to be opened in the autumn.

From the planned programme:

• Soros competitions: 15 competitions, 15 teams, 15 birthday cakes

• Skill and smartness quizzes for children and adults.

• Drawing competition on paper and asphalt

• Sandcastle competition

• Making handicraft gifts
